Prayers needed

Ethan and I are both a bit under the weather these last two days but nothing compared to this.....

A friend of mine through high school Sam, his sister was in a horrible car accident on Oct 9th. She has been a coma since then . The doctors have been doing tests to see if she has any brain activity . This is truly a time in my life where I think that I'm so lucky to have a healthy family (despite our cold) .In one second your life can be gone or severely altered. Please join me in saying a prayer for Janan and her family. This is her story if you would like to see how beautiful this young girl is .

First snow fall

So today is October 12th... yes I said October 12th and we have standing snow on the ground. Drew and I both had the day off today so we enjoyed some lazy family time together with Ethan. Since it snowed today I thought it was be a good opportunity to show Ethan the snow. Even though he could of cared less about it I enjoyed to see him sitting on the snow. We put him in his snow suit, which by the way is 18 months and is way to long :) We were only outside for 10 min so I thought it should be fine. As you can see from the pictures below he looks like the kid from A Christmas Story. I went a little overboard with the layers, at least he was warm.

In the afternoon we went to Target and our way home Ethan fell asleep in the car. We didn't want to wake him so we kept him in his car seat when we got home. On the way in he woke up briefly and grabbed his hat and fell back asleep. He looks so funny I had to take a picture! He was completely passed out.

One of my Fun Flick Photo Club challenges this last week was to create light ,so I decided to try and make light with a fairy. The fairy is kind of dark but I'm still proud of my work. I wish I had 8 hours to just play with Photoshop, but every so often will do :)

7 months

Ethan is now 7 months old!!! Time seriously flys bye. I didn't geta chance to post this on his actual 7 month old birthday, but better late than never, right?

Ethan is such a smart, loving little boy. He is getting more fun everyday . We love watching him learn and grow and boy oh boy this baby is growing fast. Ethan is now in some 6 month clothes but mostly 9 month because he is so tall. He wears those fuzzy , soft footie pajamas to bed and I could just eat him up he is so cute with those on. He loves to look upside down now. Whether he is in his excer-sauser or in your arms he is bending backward and being silly. Ethan has mastered rolling back and forth and is about to crawl his way out of here soon . He lunges forward and rocks on his knees ready to take off. He can sit unassisted for a brief minute too, but would rather play on his tummy. He has 2 teeth that broke through but he rarely lets you see him. Ethan is very talkative...he mostly says dada and baba and makes zerbert sounds with his drool. Believe me there is no shortage of drool when it comes to this little one either. Ethan goes through at least 5 or 6 bibs a day! Our little Monkey is a great eater and loves his solids. Recently we have been giving him those Gerber Graduates puff cereal. Not only is it something new to taste, but he gets his little pincher's a workout . He can grab the puffs but always misses his mouth. We've also introduced a sippy cup and he seems to like it , and I think he feels like a big boy when he is holding it. Ethan loves to jump, loves his daddy..... and mommy of course, LOVES Pippy and giggles when the dogs chase each other. The sweetest thing he does is grab my cheeks and gives me open mouth slobbery kiss or else he will grab my hair and smell it. He's usually pretty gentle when he does either of these but he has left his fair share or fingernail indentations on my face. All in all he's a healthy and happy baby boy and we are so lucky to have him.

Two Year Anniversary

Today is our 2nd wedding anniversary and we spent the day doing nothing...just how we like it. Now- a -days life seems so busy, so it's nice to relax together on a rainy day in October. All three of us spent the day in our warm pj's watching Sesame Street and just simply spending time together. It seems so surreal sometimes that we have a child together and have been together for 7 and a half years already. Seems like yesterday Drew and I were going out on your first date together . It's also hard to believe that on this day 2 years ago it was 90 degrees and humid, very unlike today... 46 degrees, raining and windy.

I honestly never thought that I would be where I am today in life. I am truly blessed with a wonderful, loving , supportive husband and a beautiful and lovable baby boy.

Fisrt Time

Today was the first day that Ethan met his Grandpa Rick.It's been about 3 years since Drew and I have seen my dad and it went very well. Ethan was a happy baby and even smiled for a couple pictures too. My dad and his finance Tammy came to our house and we visited for a couple of hours . It was nice to see my dad with Ethan and pray that they can have a great bond someday.

Grandpa Rick brought some really neat presents for Ethan. A soft rhino stuffed animal, a baby phone and a farm sound board. Ethan loves his rhino.

Eric and Drew had made Ethan a cape out of his blankie and were playing with him. I thought it was so cute so I just took a picture. Eric LOVES Ethan and every time Ethan sees Eric he always smiles at him. We call him Uncle Conway.
