My first hair cut!!!!

Today we brought Ethan to get his first big boy hair cut at Kid's Cut!


Daddy bought Ethan a play dinosaur while waiting to get his hair cut.












I let them know ahead of time that I was obsessive and would be taking lots of pictures. Can you see us in the mirror :)

I thought that I should put some pictures up from Thanksgiving before Christmas comes.

It's my sisters birthday on the 16th so Happy Birthday sassy pants, aka Grace :)

Silent Sunday

Just a thought

1 year ago today we closed on our house.. now its a home! We filled it up with lots of love, 2 dogs, 2 cats, a baby and lots of fun stuff. It's a blessing to be a home owner. It's one of our prized possessions of course. Nothing better than coming home to your own home. You know what my favorite thing about our home is ?....its that when I walk in the door I can smell my baby . I love how he smells. Happy Wednesday all and drive safe, its a slippery one out there. Gotta love living in Minne'snow'da!

9 Month Old Baby E.

I say this each month, but I really can't believe that Ethan is 9 months old already.I remember when I was pregnant thinking to myself." Ethan will be 9 months old around Christmas time". Well it's 18 days till Christmas, Ethan is getting big and is exploring his world around him.

He is 100 percent mobile..crawling I mean. He is very fast and will make a B line to his favorite ornament on the tree.

He still only has 2 teeth but the third one has almost popped through.
Says Dada all the time and last night he said Mama!!! Hooray for me :)!!

Ethan can stand up alone by him self when holding on to something. He is very good at standing which makes me nervous because that means he could be walking soon.

He weighs about 21.lbs.

I taught him how to hum with his mouth open so I can make noises with my hand so he sounds like this.. "ahh, ahh, ahh, ahh,"does that make sense?

He is so sweet and still always smiley.

He likes green beans mixed with sweet potatoes, and is eating small pieces of finger foods.

He LOVES to play peek-a-boo!!! Drew can make this little boy laugh like no ones business. He likes the "tossed in the air game"..makes him giggle!

He seems to have a serious personality when out in public. When we are at the grocery store or Target or wherever he seems to really make sure he is checking everything out. He has no time for funny business. You'll see what I mean when you see the picture of Santa and Ethan.

Although I know TV is bad for kids, Drew and I like to watch It's a Big Big World with Ethan. He loves this show! As soon as the intro song comes on he gets really quiet and looks in awe at the TV. It's a really cute show on PBS.

Ethan also seems to be a bit of a texture guy. He doesn't seem to like cottage cheese or mashed potatoes.

He was very serious when he met Santa. He wasn't scared, just curious why I handed him over to a stranger with a big beard and a red suit.





I came home from work today, walked into the bedroom and saw this. Ethan loves to
snuggle!

Its that time of year again

Last weekend we set up our Christmas tree, lights on the house and all of our decorations. This is by far my most excited I've been for Christmas . I'm so excited to have a son and a husband to share it with. I am truly blessed.

I was diligently practicing with our new lens all day :)

I'm very proud of this wreath because I made it!! I saw a Halloween wreath similar to this one on a fellow bloggers page so I thought I would try a different version of it. I had a great time making this and would love to make lots more for different holidays.
