Fathers Day.

Happy 1st Fathers Day Drew!!! This is obviously Drew's first fathers day and I know he was looking forward to it. I'm pretty sure that he enjoyed his gifts and day with Ethan and I . When I got home from a short day at work we spent the day together and Drew opened his presents . We got him a camcorder so he could start to record our beautiful life together. It's so much fun to have one and I'm sure that these videos will be priceless someday. We also headed over to my Aunt Jill's house to spend sometime with my family( The Gilispie's) I was excited for my Grandpa Larry to see Ethan because the last time we brought Ethan over there he was about 2 months old. My grandpa just loves Ethan ,you can see it in his eyes and hear it in his voice. This is his only blood great grandson and it makes me so happy to see them together. My grandfather just had a pacemaker put in so I have no doubts that he will be around for a very long time to see Ethan grow up.

On a silly note I made some "cheesy " shirts for Drew, Grandpa Bruce and Great Grandpa Larry for Ethan to wear. I thought they would be kinda cute for him to wear them since he can't express his love in words quite yet. How handsome is Drew? He's the center of our world. I love you honey!

I Love Great Grandpa Larry!

This is my grandpa and grandma with Ethan. Ethan thought his great grandpa was a riot. He just smiled and couldn't take his eyes off of him .

He did it!

This is the second time that Ethan rolled over. I just happened to be recoding him at the time and I got lucky! I love the little squealing noises he makes now.

Ethan is 4 months old already

Ethan will be 15 weeks old on Saturday and time is a- flyin by. He's getting to be so much more fun everyday. He makes the most amazing noises in the morning and at tummy time . They're a very high pitched awhhhhh. I just love it !! He can hold his head up on his own now and will be ready for rice cereal real soon. Ethan also rolled over about 4 days ago from his tummy to his back. I didn't get a picture of it because it happened too fast.We did however give him praise and it seemed like he knew that he did a good job.Ethan loves to hold things in his hands ( especially my hair, ouch!) and likes to swat at his toys. My baby's getting big, he weighs in at a whopping 13lbs 10.oz already. He is really catching up with his weight and I bet he's in the 50th percentile now. He's also so into his daddy. Drew can make him laugh and smile like no one else (I'm jealous :) ) He is defiantly a daddy's boy .

Peek-a-boo.. He loves this book. It make a crinkly noise and he can chew on it. Now-a-days anything that he can put in his mouth he loves!
We read to him everyday and I think he's a genius already .

I put his jersey on him today for the first time. I thought I should get some wear out of his clothes before he's too big for them. He is growing way too fast ( tear).

He is a smiley boy, I promise. It's me who doesn't know how to take good pictures. In most of my pictures he looks terrified. When Drew takes them though he looks happy and excited. Like I said daddy's boy.

Mommy & Me

I was just having a little fun on a new website that I found called photobucket.com that allows you to edit photos, so I thought I would post them. I love the first one!

It's midnight and I'm still in my work clothes. I should be in bed, but this is my only "alone time"(I don't mind though)

Ethan is 14 weeks old on Saturday and he is getting bigger and bigger everyday. He weighs 12lbs 8ounces now. I know because we bought a baby scale. I'm obsessed with it because I weigh him everyday. I'm not sure how long he is ,but he fits into 3 month old clothes. He sleeps well at night now. We put him down around 9:00-10:00 and he usually sleeps till about 4:00-6:00. Sometimes I don't remember it's just a blurr. I'm loving being a mommy to this wonderful little guy he is just so amazing . I catch myself waking up in the middle of the night just to watch him sleep sometimes. Drew and I are very very blessed to have him . I cant wait to have more :)
He loves his hands now. He grabs for everything too. The other day I went out to lunch with my girlfriends and he kept grabbing my salad plate with his Kung Fu grip!




Can you see Dolly in the back ground again... ughhh:) She is always next to Ethan trying to steal the show .

Just some Random Pictures

I just wanted do share some pictures .... I went out in my garden today hoping to get some pictures, but my camera's battery was low :( . Maybe next time.... I did however get a picture of some of our flowers and some strawberries. We have green beans, garlic, 2 pumpkins, zucchini, strawberries,tomatoes and cucumbers.

Also here are some pictures of my handsome little man. He loves to smile and play with his new toys!

New Layout

I finally changed my blog layout . Thank you Amy for telling me about this cool website and thanks to Cori for helping me figure it all out . I love it !!! It makes me want to blog a lot more now. I will be posting some pictures of Ethan hopefully tomorrow. He is 3 months old now you know. I had to make his 4 month old wellness checkup already. I can't believe it . Also I would like to show you all my garden and our backyard. Drew has done so much work on it , I'm so proud of him!
