I thought I might as well edit a few pictures while I'm trying to survive this cold. I don't even know what to call this virus, horrible comes to mind. My voice is almost gone from coughing and I can't breathe. Ethan is getting a bit better, at least he is sleeping. I'm not! It doesn't help that I have to work too. Oh well life goes on :)Because I can't do anything but watch TV and surf the web I thought I would put a few of my Monkey up. I'm so excited because I just saw the pictures from Ethan's 1st birthday photo shoot. I can't wait to put them up for all to see!!!!

Sicky

Ughh..Ethan and I are both sick. Stuffy nose, plugged ears, cough and dry throat. I hate being sick, actually I hate Ethan being sick more. It's a lot harder for him because he can't blow his nose or take medicine. I just cant wait until Spring so we can open up these windows and let some fresh air in . Poor little guy :(

I did a maternity shoot in our new studio tonight. I met Erica through April..who I did the engagement pictures for. Erica was a little lady with a big tummy, she was very cute and glowing! From The Studio

I am so impressed with my husband. He built walls, painted, layed carpet, changed diapers and bathed our child all in one day! Drew built a new room in our house aka my new photography studio. Whether or not this room will stay that way forever, we have added space to our home now. The room is 9.5ft by 17.5ft so its fairly large. Here are some pictures that I just took for fun to test the lighting. I'm learning every day and I'm pretty happy with how these turned out for my first time using this equiptment.

Dear Ethan

Dear Ethan,
You are 11 months old today. I can't believe your almost a year old already. You are growing up so fast and doing new things everyday. Take for instance today, you took 7 steps without falling. We were so proud of you!! I think you were pretty proud of yourself as well because you were clapping and giggling. Clapping is something you have been doing lately too. You love to feed the dogs and the dogs love to be fed by you. We are watching Grandpa and Grandma's dogs while they are on their cruise and you are spoiling them with Cheerios :)




We have been playing peek-a-boo with a blankie recently, and today you put the blanket over your head and pretended to be hiding until mommy found you. This went on for what seemed hours, but you were having fun and I love playing with you no matter what we are doing.




Lately this has been the look on your face. Daddy calls it your "mean mug" but it really is a concerned, what are you doing look. It's pretty funny. The other day we all went to Home Depot and a sales man tried to sell us cabinets and this is how you looked at the guy. This is how I wanted to look at him, but you did it for me. Thanks E! The look you gave was priceless. You basically said to him "what do you want? go away" You get this from me by the way :)








For some reason I think you look like your father when you give this look.

This is your famous smile. I have yet to find someone that doesn't fall in love with you when they meet you. Yes, I'm being bias ,but remember I'm your mother and I will always be this way. You do however have a little attitude sometimes and are very impatient. We hope this is only a phase for now, but know we will probably see that again in about 15 years. Teenagers..I tell ya :)





I have an obsession with your sweet little toes, which are also something you get from me . Your feet are short and stubby and cute as ever. You like them too because you try to eat them on a daily basis. They do taste pretty good I must admit.. I nibble on them too :)





You stand on all your toys and sometimes hurt yourself in your exploration. But you are a tough little boy, you rarely cry when you fall or hurt yourself. You love to eat food that you can pick up and feed yourself. Your such a big boy and we are so proud of you.

Bret Michaels

This is an old photo but I just found it so I thought I would put it here so if I lost it I could find it again. I have been a HUGE fan of his since I was really young. Before any of this Rock of Love stuff. I am a product of an 80's mother .I love hair bands and anything to do with the 80's especially Bret!!!! I'm smiling way to big in this picture, but hey I was so excited.

Too Cute

I just bought these becuase they are too cute. I'm not sure who I will use them on yet ,but I know there will be more babies in our future... so I can use them on them .
