2 months old..already?!

Its so hard to believe that our little guy is already 2 months old. He is smiling all the time and loves to giggle and talk. He still loves to talk most when he is on his changing table. He loves to laugh and stare at his big brother. Johnny is very much a mama's boy..unlike his big brother who is very much about his daddy . I'm the only person that can calm him down and he never cries for me, its good to be the mom:) Sleeping has always been an easy thing for Johnny, he sleeps about 5hrs on average a night and wakes up once for a little snack. He loves to cuddle and is learning how to shake his rattles. He follows you around the room and sometimes gets scared if he cant see you. Johnny is such a wonderful baby and all of us are so in love with him..how couldn't you be:)

Gotcha

This sweet little guy loves to smile and talk to us when he's on his changing table, especially in the morning. A baby's first smiles and coos are the most beautiful sight and sounds. I could watch and listen to him all day and night:)

Johnny definitely has Drew's and Ethan's eyes when he smiles. I call it the Nelson eye smile. I just love it!





Man, he's so stinkin'CUTE!!!!!!!



He seriously makes my heart skip a beat, both of my babies do. I can still call Ethan my baby right?;)

One year

One year ago today I lost my sister, my confidant ..my best friend. Only 26 years young and God decided he needed her more than I .

Ethan gave Danielle this car last year to "play" with..its still there and we have had some extreme weather this past year. I guess she liked it:)

straight from the garden

We grow tons of tomatoes in our garden each year and usually we just eat them with tacos but this year I decided to make homemade marinara sauce. It turned out so delish!!! I'm very proud of myself for this one. We had Italian dunkers with the marinara sauce for super the other night..yummo!

I'm a couple days late with this post, but happy 30th birthday daddy. We love you!

Ethan and Johnny gave Drew a CD and a new Beatles shirt for his birthday. Ethan even picked out the shirt himself! I brought Drew out to dinner at Fogo de chao. If you have never been there I HIGHLY suggest it ..sooo yummy!!!

He has some new facial expressions these day and i just love that they do new things everyday. Johnny is 6.5weeks now and is getting so big! He is wearing 3-6 months clothes already and is weighing about 11.5lbs.





Man, this kiddo is handsome just like his daddy. Look at those baby blues!

I don't have a picture yet, but Johnny has been giving us smiles throughout the day:) Since I use this blog as a way to remember things I thought I better jott this down. I can't wait to capture of of his sweet smiles !!!!
