Christmas Tree time!

We cut down our own tree this year! We have never had a real tree in the 10 years Drew and I have been together. We thought that Ethan was at an age that he would enjoy going out and picking out a Christmas Tree. We found this amazing place that was quite and desolate. There was only one other couple with their kids there. This place was huge! $40.00 for any tree!!! So cool. We all had fun and we will for sure go back every year. Drew has fun memories of his family doing this same thing. His dad and brother Bill would pull him around on a sled through the snow to find their family Christmas Tree. I love building memories with my kids even if its cold and snowy or hot and rainy. It makes it that much more memorable:)

 It has been quite sometime since I have updated our blog, but I have taken a whole day off work and sat at Caribou for 4 hours to re size pictures I just need to put them up. I have been very busy with work and home that I'm just exhausted by the end of the day. No excuse! This is my way of documenting your life and I don't wanna forget anything ! So I thought that I would write some stuff down that I want you to know really quick. Well as of last Wednesday daddy and I have been working with you on potty training and so far it has been a BIG success! We are so proud of you and you look so cute in your big boy undies ( pic later:) ) Every time you have gone on the toilet for the first couple days you got a special toy and every time we give you one you say " thank you so much Mommy and Daddy! thank you so much!" Its pretty stink'n cute:)Good Job Ethan you have been out of daytime diapers for almost a week now with only a couple of accidents .SO PROUD! The other day I came home from work and you said " Mommy, your home! Hello Mommy welcome to Drew's house" . You are so funny Ethan and keep daddy and I laughing .Daddy was eating pizza with you at lunch the other day (which by the way is your favorite) and you said " I love pizza and I wont share pizza with Johnnies....ever" only reason we thought this was funny is because you whispered the word ever:) Of course we want you to share with your brother. You love your Johnnies..However about a month ago daddy went upstairs to grab sippy cups and came back downstairs and you had taken all of Johnny's clothes off except his diaper and sprayed him with Febreeze..not in the eyes or mouth just on the tummy. Johnny was glistening and smelled very pretty. Your a stinker! At night you like to say your prayers and ask for huggies, kissies and nosies. You pat the side of your bed and ask us to lay down. I love that your such a sweet lover. You know how to count to about 15 and sing your ABC's.The other night at dinner you did the sweetest thing...Cars 2 had just ended and a slow love song came on ..you looked at me witch spaghetti sauce on your face and said " dance with me mommy?" You stood up on the stool to be at eye level with me, layed your head on my shoulder and said" Ethan loves his mommies" Then we danced the whole song. I wanted to cry so bad but I held it in with watery eyes and a lumpy throat. Uggh I just loved that baby:) We love you and your brother so much and would do anything for you kids.
