Happy Birthday Ethan

Ethan your 1! Where has the time gone? Just yesterday your daddy and I brought you home from the hospital and now your already a year old. You are quite the magnificent walker. You want to be on your feet all day and just want to explore. Your also very smart and know how to use your sippy cup like a pro. You like to play with daddy's guitar and the kitchen chairs. You love to open and close drawers and espically doors. Yes, you have pinched your fingers a couple times, but never truly cried. Your strong ! You can lift almost all your toys . You seem to fall a lot but get right back up and do it again.




You still don't nap very well. Your naps are consistently 30-45 minutes at a time. When you grow up and have children ,your daddy and I hope you have a baby just like you . Sweet, smiley and never sleeps. Ha!

You have mimicked the words kitty and doggy or Dougie we can't quite tell . It sounds like kiki and duggy. You still love to feed yourself and are very good at it as well as feeding Dougie at the same time. Your like to share :)





You have a contagious laugh and everyone loves to hear it. Your also a very good listener. When we tell you no, you stop before you start to do what you had intented to do .

You weigh 22lbs and are in the 50th percentile for your age group. 75th percentile for height and 50th for head size. I love the way you walk. You push your belly and bottom out to keep your balance and walk with your hands in the air like a real monkey!





Your a sweet little guy and are so much fun to play with . We love you Monkey and are excited about the new year ahead of you. There are still so many things we all will explore together.
