Independence Day!!

We spent the weekend of the 4th with family at the cabin . It was sunny, hot and perfect weather to be by the river. This was the first year that Ethan has been old enough to enjoy some of the amenities of the cabin. He played on the beach in the sand, and ate lots of sand :) He splashed in the water and was pretty brave to walk right into the river. He had his first boat ride and got to take a bath in the big sink in the cabin like his daddy did .








He carries his blankie EVERYWHERE now.I think it's too dang cute!

First Boat Ride!!!



Ethan was so tired when we got on the boat therefore he had no smiles for us and looked so sad. As soon as we took off he fell asleep in my arms. I loved every second of holding him while he slept. Made me think about when he was just a tiny baby. While Ethan was sleeping we drove the boat to the area where Drew first kissed me... tmi??? I don't think so :) I want Ethan to know that his daddy and I are very much in love. Anyways it was neat to know that almost 8yrs ago Drew and I were single and now we have the most beautiful life and family together.

I never thought I would be this blessed.

Cousins!

Last year he fell asleep on the way home in his car seat . This year he fell asleep on the boat. Must be the vibration.



He hated every second of being in that sink. Oh well at least we can say we tried.

This sink has touched the tushies of ... Bill, Becky, Drew, Gloria, Violet..not sure if Lukey has, Eloise and now Ethan.

How neat is that!

ps.. I had to cover up Ethan's boy parts, so I chose to be patriotic;)
